Molluscum Contagiosum can be called as water wart. It is characterized by group of small pink bumps with dimple in the middle. This are not painful, but can be itchy.

Molluscum Contagiosum is viral, belongs to a group of viruses called Molluscum Cntagiosum Virus (MCV).

Molluscum Contagiosum Virus is highly contagious and it can be easily spread between children at school or nursery while playing with toys. It is not established how long the contagious period last when the person is infected, it can be dangerous until the last spot is completely healed.

MCV can be spread by touching contaminated objects, close direct contact with infected person (including sexual contact).
